Interstellar to touch down on Blu-ray on March 30

Releases for Christopher Nolan's sci-fi smash to include two-disc Limited Edition with 48-page book

The UK branch of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has revealed that Christopher Nolan's science-fiction masterpiece Interstellar will be available on Digital HD from March 17, with DVD, Blu-ray and On Demand following on March 30. The film stars Matthew McConaughey as a former-pilot-turned-farmer who must leave his family behind to lead an expedition beyond this galaxy to disocover if humanity has a future among the stars.

In addition to an UltraViolet digital copy, the two-disc Blu-ray release also promises three hours of behind-the-scenes bonus content exploring the film's production, including an extended cut of The Science of Interstellar broadcast special. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is also releasing a Limited Edition two-disc Blu-ray Digibook that features an integrated 48-page booklet featuring extracts from Interstellar: Beyond Time and Space - Inside Christopher Nolan's Sci-Fi Epic. Only 20,000 copies of the Blu-ray Digibook will be available in the UK.

Interstellar DVD

The barebones single-disc DVD features an anamorphic widescreen transfer of the film with English, French and Spanish language Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks, plus an English Audio Description track. Optional English, French and Spanish subtitles are also included.

Interstellar Blu-ray

Disc One
Widescreen 1080p transfer of the film with English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, French Dolb Digital 5.1 and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks, plus an English Audio Description track. Optional English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles are also included.
