Q Acoustics goes bigger with bass with new Q B12 subwoofer

Q Acoustics has launched a new subwoofer which is being sold separately and included
in home cinema 5.1 packages.

Promising a performance boost over the brand's previous slimline woofers – albeit
with a less discreet form factor – the Q B12 features a 12in woofer and 220W amplifier with PurePath Ultra-HD technology to minimise distortion. A front-firing, sealed design measuring 400(w) x 400(h) x 446(d)mm,
it ships with adjustable spiked feet with optional rubber caps. A recessed connections panel on the rear aims to hide cabling.

Described as 'the largest and most powerful subwoofer from Q Acoustics so far,' the sub sells on its own for £500 (black or white vinyl to match Q Acoustics' 3000i series) and £650 (black or white gloss to partner the brand's Concept speakers).

Additionally, it will handle LFE duty in a trio of
new multichannel packages – the 3010i 5.1 Plus (£1,050), 3050i 5.1 Plus (£1,500) and Concept 5.1 Plus (£2,275).
