Four years after Spielberg's original made its Blu-ray debut, Universal has confirmed that it will finally be releasing Jaws 2, Jaws 3 and Jaws: The Revenge in HD this Summer.

For the most part the discs appear to be simple hi-def upgrades of the old DVD releases, with Jaws 2 once again being the only one of the sequels to boast any extra features (deleted scenes, storyboards and four featurettes). However, the really big news is that Jaws 3 will include both 2D and 3D versions of the film! You can also expect DTS-HD MA 2.0 soundtracks on all three discs.

The trio of hi-def platters are scheduled to hit the US on June 14, priced $14.98 each. As yet there's no UK release date, but even if they don't make it over here, the US releases should be import-friendly as Universal rarely ever region-locks its Blu-rays.
