LG launches 'Match Moments' competition

Share your ugly mug on social media to try and blag a 4K telly

Remember the look on your face when you realised Raheem Sterling hadn't actually scored a wonder-goal against Italy during England's opening World Cup game? Well, if you'd snapped a pic of it, the image of sheer agony could possibly have helped you win an LG 4K or curved OLED TV...

You see, to coincide with the footy action currently dominating our every waking moment, LG has launched its #LGMatchMoments competition, calling on fans to share their reactions to the tournament's highs and lows.

The competition began on June 12, but runs until July 14, so there's still plenty of time to enter. You need to share your pictures via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, using the hashtag #LGMatchMoments, for the chance to win.

All competition entries will be hosted on the www.LGMatchMoments.com microsite. Winners, LG tells us, will receive a range of prizes, including LG Pocket Photo Printers, 49in LG ULTRA HD 4K Smart TVs and an LG Curved OLED TV.

'We want to showcase the incredible viewing experience that’s available with LG’s latest TVs, such as OLED and ULTRA HD 4K screen technologies, and celebrate the emotion of the summer of sport,' chirps Andy Mackay, LG UK's Commercial Director. 'From the nation’s sofas, #LGMatchMoments will capture fans cheering as their team scores that critical goal, as well as the inevitable tears.'
