Visitors to London can now enjoy a black Christmas, courtesy of Pioneer Kuro. The well-regarded TV brand has taken over one of the windows at Selfridges, Oxford Street, to show ‘what Father Christmas really does in his spare time!’

According to Pioneer’s festive PR team he ‘is sure to go home and relax in front of his state of the art  home  cinema  system,  watching high definition blu-ray movies via the PDP-LX5090, Pioneer’s 50 inch award winning flagship KURO plasma TV.’

Heidi Johnson-Cash, General Manager for Marketing at Pioneer GB, says: ‘We are  delighted  to have unveiled our Christmas window display at Selfridges as it  enables  us to showcase our award winning products to consumers who look for the best in consumer technology. Our window display provides customers with a platform to experience the KURO  family  for  themselves, providing  experiential demos which brings ‘seeing and hearing like never before’  to life.’

The window display shows Santa enjoying a home cinema system comprising a 50in plasma, blu-ray player and sound system. The man himself was unavailable for comment.
