BBC HD confirms Christmas highlights

BBC HD has announced a schedule of Hollywood films and homegrown TV shows for the Christmas period.

HD movies will include Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,Toy Story 2, The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe and Brothers Grimm.

Other highlights are the brand-new Wallace and Gromit: A Matter Of Loaf And Death, and 2005's ...Curse of the Were-Rabbit, the Xmas-themed Shrek the Halls, and Doctor Who at The Proms.

There are also hi-def Chrimbo specials for Strictly Come Dancing (will John Sergeant return?), The Royle Family, Lead Balloon and Gavin and Stacey.
